I hardly left the house today. The dog's injury turns out to be some kind of paw chilblains. Which means, no going out into the snow or ice for him for a while. Not the best look for a supposedly ‘working spaniel’. Something tells me that if Tucker had not ended up in our artsy pinko-lesbian family unit and had gone to gun-dog puppy boot camp, he might have been taken round the back of the farm barn and never seen again. Meanwhile, the cat has nothing but disdain for his poorly paws and cabin fever sad eyes. She’s been working on scratching an artwork called ‘Tucker, let me name the ways I hate thee’ into one of the sides of our sofa for sometime. It appears to be a durational piece. Today she had fun adding a new mini rip of disdain.

Anyway, as you can see, I have been stuck inside with the fur fam for far to long.

I did however spend a bit of time thinking about geese and how to draw snow and how the water on the canal can be so many colours all at the same time.
