SKETCH A DAY - Day 110/365

It's been a day off. I lay on my back and stared at the leaves of the holly tree in our garden for ages. I realised that some of its leaves are not spiky. I hadn't noticed that before. I looked it up. Holly trees sometimes just focus their spikes where they need to be (low branches to deter predators).

A good reminder to put our energy into the right places.

I was going to draw the holly tree but ran out of steam. Another day, I am sure. But for now, as it's almost time to think about turning in and night time ablutions - here's a sketch of our spice girls tooth mug, toothpaste and toothbrushes. And that's the news.
