Today I was over in Huddersfield working with the fab team of folks working on an R&D for a new Odd Doll / Kathleen Yore show. ❤️

I always love walking through #Huddersfield. I like seeing #HaroldWilson outside the station with his jacket flying, forever walking against the wind. He is the first Prime Minister I have a vague memory of. When I think of him I also always think of Morecambe and Wise. I think because people used to make jokes about him smoking a pipe. Who knows. I was about 6. 6 yearolds make their own reality up, don't they.

Anyy, I like this statue because it makes me think of my dad too. I can remember Dad walking like that (sturdy, certain, no nonsense). I remember my dad wore suits in the way Harold wears his. The cut and the way it's just smart enough and all quite thrown together. The sense that the destination is the thing, not how one looks getting there. And on we go x
