Sketch a day - Day 86/365
I am so tired. I must look knackered because Jane asked if I would like her go out and do my toad patrol shift tonight and I said yes please.
Thank you, Jane ❤️.
Yesterday I went to a networking event at Screen Yorkshire and today I attended a 1/2 day writers room session in Bradford. Both of which were (to my great surprise, because I get super nervous about such things) really great. I loved both. But my goodness, I suddenly felt so done in this afternoon. I can feel that my body is saying take it steady madam. Take. It. Steady.
So I am listening and doing as I am told.
I had no idea what to sketch this evening. I ended up doing a ‘what is right in front of me now’ drawing. On this occasion it was my mobile phone. Lara Darling stars on my home screen. She looks so sweet in this photo. But I have so many apps you can't really see her anymore.
No doubt there is a telling metaphor about phones and how they are killing us softly hidden here. Digital bindweed. The end of civility and civilization. Etc. No doubt. But I am too tired to run with that idea.
And that's the news.
